This encompasses the multitude of crafts involving fibers and materials: knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross stitch (both patterned and counted), embroidery, fashioning items such as clothing, etc.
The arts I most enjoy are crochet and counted cross stitch. I have also tried my hand at making costumes for Halloween and cosplay.
Floral Design
I enjoy working primarily with silk floral arrangements. I have done a number of projects using a variety of bases, such as vases, baskets, decorative wall displays.
Personalized Jewelry
I have created many styles of jewelry for myself and others. I have worked with beads, wire, floss, chain maille, and leather. Some of the styles I have incorporated into my designs have been gothic (skulls, crosses, bats), monochrome (black, white, shades of grey) for a color-blind coworker, statement necklaces, and matching sets (earrings, bracelet, necklace).
Tabletop gaming
My husband and I enjoy group tabletop role playing games like Dungeons and Dragons and various games by Games Workshop (Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, Necromunda). These games involve small-scale models that typically must be built from kits and hand painted to match a chosen theme, as well as buildings and terrain elements.*
